It Mart ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and sells computers, gadgets and related accessories in Bangladesh. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
You give us directly:
- Name, email address and phone number when you create an account
- Delivery and billing addresses when you place an order
- Order history, saved PC builds, product reviews and support messages
- Profile picture, if you choose to upload one
Collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device information and pages viewed
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to remember your cart
We never store full card numbers. Card and mobile-wallet details are handled entirely by our payment partners; we only receive a transaction reference and its status.
2. How we use your information
- To process, deliver and invoice your orders
- To provide warranty service, handle returns and answer support requests
- To keep your cart and saved PC builds available across devices
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access
- To send order and delivery notifications — these are transactional and cannot be opted out of while an order is active
- To send offers and newsletters, only if you opt in; every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link
3. Legal basis and consent
We process your data to perform the contract you enter into when placing an order, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and — for marketing — on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting orders already placed.

We share data only as far as necessary, with:
- Courier and logistics partners — name, address and phone number, to deliver your order
- Payment gateways — to authorise and settle your payment
- Service providers — hosting, email and analytics providers acting on our instructions
- Authorities — where required by law, court order or a valid legal request
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
5. Data retention
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting rules. Account data is kept while your account is active. If you close your account we delete or anonymise your data, except records we must legally retain.
6. Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing and are never readable by our staff. Access to customer data is restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.
7. Your rights
You may request access to the data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion of data we are not required to keep, object to marketing, or ask for a copy of your data. You can update your name and profile picture yourself from My Account. For anything else, contact us using the details below.
8. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function — signing in, keeping your cart, and security. Blocking these will break checkout. Any analytics cookies are used only in aggregate and never to identify you personally.
9. Children
Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
